Looking for suggestions on games

I am getting a bit bored with my games as 95% of them being shooters (coh is currently my only non-shooter that is installed). I loved Diablo 2 but quit because the community was so bad that it was unbearable. I want to get a game that is just like Diablo 2. I don't like to play mmo's though because they cost $$ per month which I don't want to shell it out when I will play a few hours a week. Guild wars was ok for a bit but it got old also, wasn't very impressed with the combat system and wanted one more like diablo's. So basically I am looking for a game that is Diablo with updated graphics or similar gameplay. Sorry if I am difficult but I like to get game's that last me a long time so I like to get a demo, so only mention ones that don't have a demo if they are under $20. Thanks.

You weren't impressed with the combat of Guild wars, but were with Diablo's? ok. For a recommendation i would suggest Titan quest, it plays a lot like Diablo. There are also a lot of f2p hack and slash mmo's out there that play the same. Leithen

I know it is odd.. I just had the feeling that guild wars was so slow while Diablo was so fast paced and you didn't rely on a team like you do in guild wars. I will give titan quest a try.

Guild wars is one of my favorite games personally i think people that dont likes combat are compeletly insane but im compelty insane so it all balances out
