Looking for Third Person Action

I want an action game or RPG thats expansive, has a decent story, and customization. The reason for this is: I want to play a game like WoW or some sort of MMO but dont want to have to pay for the MMO. I dont know. I cant think of any game thats fast paced third person action that isnt an evil Ubisoft Game. Id get AC2 or Conviction or some action game like that if I didnt have to deal with the DRM crap. Let me know.
