First off Mac, you pay a lot more for the hardware that they have inside, I told my sister to try and find a Mac with the same specs as the one I got and to see how much it would be, it was around £500 more and the GPU wasnt as good, so I would just cross Mac of your list right now. As far as laptops go I would say dont get one unless you are willing to spend a bit, GPU's in laptops are hard to replace and sometimes cant be replaced therefore rendering the machine useless when you want to upgrade, either spend a fortune on a laptop with at least a 7600GT or build or buy a PC from a shop, again with at least a 7600GT.

Mac is good for working on graphics design and what not... its not top notch for gaming, but if you consider trying to game on a laptop then you must not be to smart in the first place.
