I'm looking to get myself a new secondary monitor to replace the huge CRT i currently use. I really don't know whats good and whats not when it comes to monitors, so I thought I'd ask here.

This monitor will not be used for gaming (My primary is a 24 inch, and I don't have room for another). I was thinking of something in the 19-21 inch range, preferably 720P resolution and up. Also, I have a 5970 on it's way (well, when it comes in stock on the 14th), and i was wondering if i could use 2 smaller monitors with my 24 inch? I know it's possible to use 3 monitors, but I was thinking of playing with all 3 of them. I think this should be possible, after all you would only loose the top left corners on each side.

Well, I'd like to have a decent price/performance, and i don't want to pay that much for a secondary monitor. The prices in the US vary a lot from the Norwegian ones (and I'm not talking about currency when I say that), so I'm not really sure how much I need to spend for a reasonable monitor, but mid-range prices are good with me i guess.

You would be able to use all 3 monitors by using a program called softth. This program allows the use of different sized monitors and establishes a multi monitor gaming atmosphere. Let me know if you need anymore information.

What's your budget in NOK? (I'm norwegian)

I recommend checking this site: Link

They have a lot of great and thorough tests of monitors, they give you all the info you'd ever need. The link above directly gives you the list of the best 22" monitors in some different categories which they've decided on from their testing. They also have a feature on their site that lets you directly compare two and two screens, and I don't mean specs. I mean EVERYTHING, like color range to viewing angle to gaming quality, I'll add the link for that feature below:

From what you've told us here I'd go for the Dell 2209WA.

You can get it for roughly 2000 NOK if you're fast and get it from here. Seems like it's some short-time offer.
