I am looking to purchase an HD Monitor for $150-$200 to use at college for gaming. I would like a monitor somewhere around the 22"-24" range. I understand its a lot to ask but does anyone know where I can find one?

Are you gonna use it for console gaming or just pc gaming?playpassenger
Console gaming, Xbox 360 and maybe Wii

I have the same monitor (except it's 23" not 24", but the other specs are exactly the same).
Like every other monitor it does require some tweaking out of the box to get it out of it's default blinding torch mode, but after that the image quality is good.

I have the same monitor too. I use it for everything: PC gaming, console gaming, and movie viewing. Great color and response time, plus the preset image settings are actually pretty good.
if your in canada futureshop is having a sale on monitors right now, i just picked up a 200 dollar 21.5" monitor, full hd, not bad if you ask me
I would not go under 300$. I've got a 300$ PC monitor HP w2207h (22inch, 5ms refresh rate, 720p, 1680x1080 native).
It's a great monitor for about 300$. I've got it for a year and it works flawlessly. But make sure not to put the PS3 in 1080i/p on it as it'll break the HDMI port. Just put it in 720p and it'll be fine. Most games are 720p anyway. Same thing for the Xbox 360.
It's connected to both my PC and PS3. It has a glossy (plasma) screen for better colors and to date I think it's got awesome colors compared to other screens. It's an HP screen.
It has a 16:10 scaling, the PS3 has a 16:9 scaling. But it doesn't really look that stretched. Just a little bit when you search for it but it never bothered me.
