or something. Anyway, when I try to boot up now, my monitor wont turn on but I know that the computer itself is actually booting. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm fairly sure it's not going to be working anytime soon. I've been fiddling with it for the past two hours now, and I get nothing. Either way, I need help, and the way I see it, there are only a few options I have (in which I wouldn't have an idea how to do without having any sort of display.)

Option 1: Fix the graphics card. Would have no idea on how to do this, not that tech savvy.

Option 2: Find out how to re-enable my onboard graphics card (At the moment, when I plug the moniter into the onboard chip, it still boots up, but I still get nothing on the screen except a mess of what's supposed to be the bootup screen.)

Option 3(last resort): Reformat computer to get onboard chip to work. Don't know if it's even possible to go about doing this without any sort of display.

So, any recommendations?

To enable youre onbord video you must go into the bios on bootup by hitting the Delete button. Usually once will get it but not knowing when exactly when to hit it i usually hit it 7-12 times to be shure i get into the bios

Don't know if I didn't actually emphasize this in the first post, but my moniter wont turn on and I wouldn't be able to see the bios. Kind of the main idea here

Have you tried taking out the video card? That should make the BIOS swap over to the onboard, becuase it won't detect an external video card.

Either that, or have you tried reseting the CMOS?

I've tried taking it out... several times.. it does switch over to the onboard, I think.. just not properly. As I said in my first post, when I try with the onboard card, all it shows is a few flashes of the bootup screen. I think I had previously uninstalled the onboard drivers or something like that a while ago *facepalm*. But, what's this about the CMOS? How do you reset it?
