Lost Planet Demo Error Message

I have installed the demo on two PC's and one Laptop and get the same error message:

Application failed to start because XINPUT1_3.dll was not found.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I downloaded it from Gamespot the other day.

Where do I get DX10 from??

BTW one thing to try is install the latest applicable direct X.  I've heard of people having issues with Vista and the DX10 demo.

DX9 typically will give you a diferent dll error unless you get the directx from april 2007.

DX10 you have to be using Vista to use.  Can't use it on XP.

Since i don't use Vista at the moment im not sure of the link for it but you should be able to get it off microsoft's site

I get the same error in both DX9 and DX10 versions. DX9 installed on XP and DX10 installed in default location on Vista.

I get the same error in both DX9 and DX10 versions. DX9 installed on XP and DX10 installed in default location on Vista.

You can try updating DirectX. I did not have any problems when i installed the demo.
