Lost WIC CD key... need help

I lost my WIC CD key and I cant get onto massgate

I just reinstalled the game and the key isn't under registry

does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

The guys that made the game put the key on a separate piece of paper

and I conveniently lost it

gahh ihate when they do that.

You should always right it down someowher like a word file or somthing with all your other keys. Although i dont do that its a good idea.

That's funny because my CD key is right here on the sleave of my first WiC CD. NOT on another slip of paper.garbageben

Mine was on another slip, I lost mine too but I plan on just contacting THQ when I put it on my new PC.

When did you buy your copy? Maybe they realized how stupid of a move that was.

I own well over a hundred PC games and I have never once lost a CD key.

I don't understand how anyone can lose their key - even if it is printed on a tiny slip of paper, come on, use your brain and write it down. Get an address book or a diary and write them all down if you have to.

Hell, make a .txt and keep them in your my documents folder.

CD keys are harder to lose than actual keys.

I appreciate that this post won't help you get your key back, but I hope this is a lesson learned for you. Also, you should know that many people who read 'I lost my key' threads will assume you're a pirate. I certainly do.
