I am wondering which is more worthwhile? Could anyone help me? I have made up a rating system below, almost a bit like the old GS rating. ( Please no Fanboyishness or I'll just ignore your post! ;) )

Best Graphics: ?

Best Sound: ?

Best Quests/Gameplay: ?

Easier to Start off: ?

There are more high level players in: ?

Better Role Players: ?

Better Creativity: ?

Higher Monthly Fee: ?

Does LOTR have a working voice chat and include the characters from the books/films? : ? & ?

Thanks for the help guys!

Ok....here it's the thing.

First time was Wow released so it was best MMORPG and it is.....

Later some crazy producer thought he can make a Wow clone, name LOTR and he did.....but not like Wow...so...

I played both and it's a little almost the same but LOTR has only a fwe classes and races and all of that are soooo ugly..

Gameplay is like Wow do q's and stuff....etc

BUT!!! LOTR beats Wow graphics so easy, mean every game has his engine and represents the game is his own way but i like more the graphics is LOTR ...SO REAL is cool..

If u play LOTR u can hear some music from Movies and yeah if u liked LOTR movies u like this too...

Well i dont wanna write a rewiev here but i think both games are great in their own way and they deserve to give them a try....

I'll point out that WoW copied many other games in it's setup. That said, I had always heard LOTR was a WoW clone, it's not. Having played WoW for quite some time and now currently playing LOTR I think LOTR is way more laid back and "comfy" feeling. I never got the feeling playing WoW that the world was alive and vivid, more to the point I just watched colorful warlocks and orcs bunny hop down the road a alot.

I'm not saying one is better then the other, but they are actually quite a bit different in feel even though they are based on the same recipe. Let me also point out one thing I noticed while playing LOTR, I have never just stood in a field killing monsters for xp even one time. That alone is something vastly different than WoW.

I have never just stood in a field killing monsters for xp even one time in WoW either... its called questing lol..

Either way ive played both WoW and LotRO.

I played LotrO for 3 months... and ive played Wow for a total of almost 2 years.. i wonder which is better lol.

I had a 50 minstrel, and 43 captain in LotrO... its really fun until you get till end game.. hardly any end game content... pvp lacks really bad. The way to level 50 is fun though.

I've played both enough to see that LoTRO is not even close to being a WoW clone as some people have claimed. The gameplay is considerably different and the graphics are leaps and bound above WoW. Both games are good but LoTRO is definately more suited to a mature player base. Kids wouldn't be as attracted to it as they would be to WoW. The only thing I can suggest is to play the 7 day trial for LoTRO and whatever trial for WoW you can get and decide for yourself which is better.
