As far as shooters, you could try Half-Life, Rainbow Six, Tribes, Tribes II, Sin, Quake, Quake II, Quake III: Arena, Duke Nukem 3D, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Slave Zero (3rd person giant robot shooter).

Strategy could include stuff like Rollercoaster Tycoon (1 & 2), The Sims (first 1 - maybe Sims 2), Warcraft III, Starcraft, Diablo.

I'm sure there are many more games that will run on your PC. You could always expand to the racing game genre where you could have things like the "Madness" games - Motocross Madness, Motocross Madness 2, Midtown Madness, Midtown Madness 2, Monster Truck Madness, Monster Truck Madness 2. There are also the older Need for Speed games that I had a lot of fun with - mainly NFS III: Hot Pursuit, NFS High Stakes, and Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed. Lastly, if you like GTA - you could try Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now. :)
