that would definitley be pushing it, i doubt it :/

you would have to play at a very low resolution at low settings...google those games' minimum hardware requirements to get a better idea

Thanks, i'm planning to upgrade my cpu to quadcore i have an lga775 socket which doesn't support i7 i think, so i have to go with a quad or intel core 2 extreme the cheaper the better.

no problem, i agree, well the good thing is that you can upgrade at a fairly decent price...throw 2gb more RAM on there (instant performance boost at low price), and upgrade to decent quad core, and perhaps look into an older Radeon 5xxxx video card if the budget is tight?

EDIT: spell check ;)

Bioshock infinite , and COD should run fine, but BF3 is pushing it even on lowest.

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 or better

RAM: 2GB

VGA: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT / ATI Radeon® X1950Pro or better

DX: DirectX 9.0c

OS: Windows® Vista / XP / 7

HDD: 12GB

Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible

that's the minimum spec for black ops...expect MW3 to be somewhere in that ballpark

I've got a Quad with a 4650 but with 8gb of ram and its pretty solid. I have yet to have to play a game on anything lower than Mediumish. If I were you i'd grab another 2gb of ram for a total of 4gb

Maybe i'll upgrade the ram first and see if it can run new games, i can play witcher 2 with lowest settings 20fps and medal of honor at medium at the moment. If still doesn't improve then i'll save up for the quad.
