lol people are so silly...i used to run hl2 on 256mb of ram, fx5500 (nvidia), 1.7ghz p4...he can handle the source engine with flying colors. Check Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike:Source and San andreas multiplayerIcewind Dale 1/2

That setup can't handle source well at all, I don't think you read his specs correctly. Â You also won't be able to play ps2 games on that setup without them lagging out terribly. I also have never found a good working ps2 emulator.

Actually, the Geforce 5500 would have been a lot faster than a 9250. He probably could play the original HL2 just fine, but probably not newer source games like TF2 though. I know its not worth the money to upgrade such an old system, but your graphics card is a big bottleneck. If you could find a better video card for it, you would help it out great deal.
As for game recommendations, some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned from that era of PC hardware would be sim city 4, Civilization 4, Rome: Total War, Jedi Knight 2/Jedi Academy, Call of Duty 1, and the early Splinter Cell games.
