Lower 3DMark 06 Score With NVIDIA 197.13 Drivers?!

Man... this is weird... I recently upgraded from the previous 196.21 drivers to the 197.13 drivers. The upgrade severely lowered my 3DMark 06 total score.

On 196.21 I scored 21,270. After the upgrade, I went down to 16,623. That's close to a 5k drop in my score! What's happening?! Anybody else experience this?

Oh and my GPU and CPU:

SLI 2x GTS 250 787/1836/2024

Core i7-940 2.93Ghz @3.4Ghz

Same clocks for the 196.21 test and the 197.13 test.

I'll probably roll back but are there any other people out here experiencing the same problem?!

I believe the goal of the 197.13 driver was to solve the heating issue suffered from the 196.75 driver and was primarily made for this instead of performance.

Thats not happening to me. Mine went up about 20 points. You sure its not because something else has slowed down in your system? A driver shouldn't drop something that far. Thats as if maybe you had something else running outside of 3dmarks before running it. I don't know though but I went up up 20 points in 3dmarks and passmark 3d score went from 1100 to 1259.
