maybe gpu is not getting enough power... i am about 3000 points short of my goal on 3d marks and that is only dependent on gpu score

I get 10K on my rig. Windows XP Pro, AMD 3800X2 @ 2.6GHz, 2GB RAM, and a 9800GTX non-overclocked. So I think those are about right since your OC and have a better cpu + more RAM.nVidiaGaMer
what was ur cpu score... mine was 3722 that means my gpu scored is like 8278 with sm3 and sm2 scores both being like 1k lower than usual each

Try 180.70 drivers or the 180.48 WHQL.

the cpu is scoring as expected i looked into the test history of the amd phenom X 4 and they are getting substantially higher scores in the 15.7k to 16k with this card.

the gpu is not scoring well enough... is there a power problem?

I don't know what to tell you. That score seems about right for what you have.. It's not a bad score, but I would say that an overclock on that phenom should make a significant difference. No offense, but I find it really hard to believe that anybody with that cpu running at 2.6ghz and that video card would be getting 16k. My gpu with the overclock is very close to your card's performance, and my cpu scores much higher than a phenom. I get 14762 on my system as it is.

Your score isn't low at all...
