Hey fellas.
OK I know this is completely irelevant to these forums but ,say you want some of the features, programs in Mac OS-X 10.5 Leopard, but you don't want to buy a mac to get it, is there a way to run it on a PC. I know you shouldn't do this and the guys at Apple of course say that it doesn't work but, how come Microsoft give Apple users the option to run Windows on a mac yet Apple can't do the same for thier OS. I mean there would still be plenty of reasons to buy a mac even if the OS was Runnable on a PC ,namely superior processing power for Graphics work etc. And if you think about it Apple would still be making a profit from selling the OS to you, so why can't you use OS-X on a PC, this would mean the hardware in your PC ,e.g. sound cards etc could be utilised with OS-X's powerful programs like Garageband. Anyone else feel like Apple is getting it all and we're getting taken for a ride? I mean most of the hardware in new Macs is the same as any modern PC albet the CPU is 2 Quad-Core Intel Xenons in the top-end model, the GPU etc are all pilffered from the PC Industry
