You're talking about games on the Window's side right? That being the case, I think you need at least 3 GHz.

Not with a Xeon you won't - that 2.6GHz quad-core Xeon processor will wipe the floor with the Pentium EE 965.
thank you everyone for helping me out. its just that im getting a mac becuase its great for running the inal cut suite which is what i use for school and my profession. its just that im a pc gamer fan and ive built my own rig 4 years ago that still kicks some a$$ today. its just that i never thought about blowing $3000 on a computer let alone a computer with quad core technology. I mean i figure for this rice its should play crysis on max settings with out the dx10. is this copmuter worth it, i mean is it really going to perform really well with games to come? is it true developers have to make games utilize the 4 cores?
