Macs - They just struck my interest

I was thinking about gettin a newer PC but now im thinkin about getting a Mac and just using a console to game. Can anyone tell me what they think about Macs if they own one or have owned one?

How does the OS work? Is the word processing and media management any good?

Yeah, theyre pretty good for that, the OS can take a moment for a unknown user to learn.

The thing is I can't find a good reason to recomend them b-fore a PC, Windows Vista is very user friendly also and a PC cost much less for the same hardware.

Mac is a little like a iPOD they dont do very much more than the average MP3-players but they cost much more due to the "hype" they have.

If you don't know that you want a mac, then you don't want one.

I see macs only useful if you need to use the mac only programs. Or, if you like setting big piles of money on fire.

Stick with a PC, its much cheaper, and you have much more options.

Don't waste money for the "cool" look, because no body gives a @^$*what your computer is, and when you brag you are regarded even lower then you where.

When I walk around campus and see these kids using Mac Books just to be "cool" I laugh at them on the outside and die on the inside because its sad that peaple can be so gullible.

I egerly wait on some mac fanboy to flame me... But let it be know I don't hate macs.. Just people who buy them for the wrong reasons.
