old xbox? Its not MS. Its not 360. So the best thing you could do is maybe use google to find drivers for it. I cant help you anymore.

Its for 360, Its the madcatz Street fighter IV controller. I have vista 64. I try'ed finding drivers but I cant find anything at all

This is something i just dont know that well. And no third party drivers leave you down a stream with out a paddle . If you had a MS one then vista and 7 would recognize it and find drivers.

Don't you think they would prepare some type of driver because a huge amount of people can use this with plug n play, and I dont know why this isnt working. Does this use a battery or something...? I cant find any slot for one....

Is this a wireless controller plugged in via the play and charge kit? If so, then the controller still communicates wirelessly. Hence does not work, this applies to the 360 wireless controller, I am assuming this controller uses the same driver.

As far as I know, the only 360 controllers that are 100% reliable on the PC are Microsoft's own. For instance, I know that Gamestop's own branded 360 controller will not work on the PC.

it is wired and came with the SF IV PC bundle so you would assume it would work on the pc, i keep plugging it in and nothing at all happens
