For me Mafia 2 seems to be more interesting.I know after playing GTA IV it would be very difficult to move to any such GTA like games.

None are out yet, so what's the point? Besides, last I checked, Mafia 2 had a pathetically low amount of info released on it.

i think Mafia 2 will be better. and i dont like style og Godfather 2,its like cartoon or something like that ...:S

Definitely Mafia 2.

I remember reading a magazine update on it that impressed me a lot. Can't wait to see if they pull off everything they intended for it.

Im going to have to go with Mafia 2 on this one.

Judging by the past experience of these two game companies making these two games, Godfather was kind of dry, but it did feature some type of turf war and character customisation was not bad. Mafia, even though it's old, has a lot of value in it's story and interactivity. Right now I am predicting that Mafia 2 will actually probably be the first action sandbox game that will beat grand theft auto, although i'm a fan of the gta series, this is coming from me.
