DLC is broken it seems, wont install on 64bit systems and apparently the installer starts to run in XP then shuts down.

I wish they would do away with the space dollars and just sell it at a specific price!

As AGMing said do not download the shadow broker DLC yet, something pretty sloppy has happened and the file basically consists of 1.5gbs of zero's. It will not run on ANY pc so do yourself a favour, save your bandwidth and don't think it will work on your PC because it won't

Bioware are saying "they are looking into the compatibility issues" yeah right since when has a 1.5gb junk file ever been a compatibility issue ? It will naturally get fixed but I wouldn't expect it any time soon.

its possible it corrupted on upload or when the files were complied into the installer but its a bit sloppy releasing it before a final test.

Yeah and they are compounding their sloppiness by leaving the link up to download the garbage file. It was pretty obvious within minutes that there was something very wrong with the file and if Bioware had been a responsible company they would have removed the link to avoid people wasting their bandwidth. It is now nearly 3 hours since the file went live and the damn link is still there. This is incredibly unprofessional of Bioware to say the least.

Yep, DLC file is simply 1.5GB of zeros on the PC. Awful thing is the BioWare hasn't even taken down the broken file, so people are still downloading 1.5GB's of nonsense and are none the wiser until it fails to run. :(

I was able to compress the whole download down to a 1.5MB zipped file. It's ridiculous they put it up like that in the first place.

That's what I can't wrap my brain around. Bioware may not control the FTP servers that EA uses to send out the download, but they certainly control the social site and can remove the link to the bad file.

It seems as if they have FINALLY removed the download link for this DLC, it has only been up for 4 and a half hours already  . This also means that there probably won't be a fix any time soon which sucks but to be honest I am past caring now.

I enjoyed overlord more, but it was still good DLC and I could see this having a huge effect on ME3. Everyone should get this seeing how it will play a huge part in the next game.

The main complaint is that it's too short, but you can say that about most dlc. The Shadow Broker's ship is amazing to look at, it's a really good design. It sets up a potentially big part of ME3 and the bits after the final battle provide a good send off for what is undoubtedly the game of the year.

Pretty much agree with what others say here, it is ok DLC but I was left with the impression it could have been better. I certainly don't think it does justice to the Liara character but what we got of her was not bad so to speak. The Shadow Broker ship is of course cool but one thing that does niggle me is that there is no "docking" animation. With all major locations in ME 2 you are presented with a nice lil bit of CGI representing the docking/landing, but with Shadow Broker it just goes to a loading screen. Ho well you can't have everything, I do wish we could get a decent expansion though rather than these sub 2 hour mini-episodes.

Bioware sucks with DLC... First it was the incredibly buggy Witch Hunt for DAO and now the Shadow Broker for ME2, don't they do any game testing before releasing this crap? Seriously most of these DLCs have great premises, and they could've done SO MUCH with it but they didn't...

I enjoyed Lair of the Shadow Broker, but I don't understand why it cost 800 Points, and yet was quite a bit shorter than Project Overlord, which cost 560 Points. I think Overlord is still the best DLC, but Shadow Broker takes the second position.

Just completed it this morning.

But I also played Overlord and Firewalker so I got a good 4-5 hours of gameplay.

It was good, but Overlord was better cuz it also made use of the Hammerhead :P

Still, finish Lair of the shadow broker made me wanna play ME3 already :D
