We have Mass Effect! and it is better than XBOX360 because it has a revamped HUD, which allows you to give INDIVIDUAL COMMANDS to Squad MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GHOST RECON could not even do this!!!!!!!!!!!!! GHost recon force the whole group to do something, but could never individual give commands.

FOR THIS REASON ALONE.....................AND ON THIS SPECIAL DAY...............I AM PROUD TO BE A PC OWNER..............

btw i have gta4 and i give it a 9 out of 10 ...........but a 10 out of 10? :shock: as goofy would say "somethin wrong here"

I dont know which Ghost Recon you were playing but in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighters 2 (PC) I was able to give Individual Commands to my Squad Members.Tuzolord

All the previous GR games. So if GRAW2 is different, it must be the first in GR games to allow it.

my ****ing amazon pre-order won't be shipped until june 02, which begs the question - what the hell did i pre-order for? so i cancelled it and will be buying it retail, even though that'll cost me an extra $10.fireandcloud

lol I'm having the same problem. Apparently Amazon is going to be in stock on the 30th now looking at their Mass Effect page:|. They pulled the same **** with AoC on me so this is pretty much it. I'm canceling this and never ordering pc games from them again.

No Securom and 3 max installs for X360 so MEX360 > MEPC.

No sadly it's not. My shipping date was the 28th and now they are apparently stocking my order as you can see here

Speaking of Amazon. Way back when I had WoW: BC pre-ordered I got a email saying I would be in the 2 or 3rd shipment. This was like a few days before the release so I told them to cancel and I went and pre-ordered it at a local store. A week later I get a box from Amazon with the game. So, they were completely wrong of when exactly my copy would ship and then they didn't even cancel it. I won't even go into the massive hassle I went thru when I ordered a DS Lite from them and it wasn't even a pre-order. I stopped going to Amazon after their horrible customer service and horrible inventory status.

And I will be playing Mass Effect on the 360. I won't install anything that has a functional Securom on my PC.

I'm no pirate, so I don't know first hand, but googling it, it seems this would be accurate. It looks a bit complicated but, just like any other form of protection, it's useless against the combined intellect of hackers, poor people, and those that hate being told no... Wasted money BioWare...

This is true, Bioshock used it and you can torrent it. In fact, I know lots of people who bought Bioshock retail and then pirated it just because the crack doesn't use securom.

It's a real nightmare to find the game in Canada for someone who don't have a credit card :\

At ebgames they were looking at me like it was impossible that the pc would get that game they even tryed to sell me the xbox version... Tryed 6 shops, including a Wall Mart (shame on me). Either this game is the most popular pc game ever or EA decided that Canada=Europe and we have to wait another week before getting the game :(

I wonder what you think about the game when you've finished it. You're beyond excited about this title, lol. No game can live up to that amount of expectations.

true. i should calm myself before starting to play it. but everything i have heard about it and seen tells me this game will be quite magnificent. and even if it's a letdown compared to my lofty expectations of it, i'll still be able to enjoy it, as long as the game's good. my gut feeling is that it's kotor with better combat - can't beat that.

Just remember that the main story is REALLY, REALLY good. I'm this close to getting the PC-version, I hate some of the annoying things in the 360-version. DRM be damned...

Just remember that you have a lot of awesomeness waiting for you at the end, if the grinding on dead planets gets to you.

you know, that's becoming more and more appealing to me, especially after experiencing the awesomeness of vampire's story. i don't think i've been as immersed in a game since...fallout 1 & 2 - in fact, i think vampire's the most immersive game of all time. i've slogged my way through too many games in which i barely paid attention to the story and dialogue, because they were so freaking dull. i think a great story is exactly what the doctor ordered. yes, i threw a bone at your direction. :)
