I wanted Mass effect before most people even knew about it and I loved it at first, but after completing about 3times it dies and gets left on your shelf. But thats just my experience for all I know you might love it,, I say go for it if its cheap but don't be paying alot for it. As for the story its brilliant at first but seriously dies after 3rd completion, by the 4th time I was sick of the story and pretty much played to clock it...but I just couldn't be bothered.stike22
game has to be REALLY good that i'd complete it even once :D
It's an awesome game, at least the main quest, the optional quests suck big time, it's like another game, but at least it's fun to drive the Mako on those planets :) and the DLC isn't that good/fun, the best part of it, again, is that you can drive the Mako :).DanielDustis the dlc in the game after you download it or you got to start by the beginning the game to play it, or its another story?
is the dlc in the game after you download it or you got to start by the beginning the game to play it, or its another story?HellboardYou have to download the DLC, it's like a patch, it doesn't come with the game, not even the new copies made after the DLC was released and it's kinda like a side quest, it has nothing to do with the main quest, it's just a new "planet" (a meteor if I recall correctly) that appears on the galaxy map. I don't remember the story much but I think those mercenaries were directing the meteor towards earth, or maybe some other planet.
But anyway, the DLC isn't that good, because all you have to do, is to disable 4 or 5 thrusters that make the meteor move and all those bunkers are exactly the same, but the ending is pretty good, the fighting, the story.
P.S No you don't have to start the game again.

yup it's suppose to be a trilogy. i just hope EA allows Bioware to port mass effect 2 and 3 rather than Deimurge cause they did a crappy job. I'm also scared about EA's involvement with bioware's games.....[QUOTE="Lach0121"][QUOTE="Hellboard"] TRILOGY? My reactions to the game:
Sweet! It's just like KotOR but with a cooler combat sys--oh wait, it gets pretty lame after a while.
Awesome! The stoy is really immersively! It's really cool how y--oh wait, the story is actually kind of lame.
The characters are great! The dialogue is really nice and--ah, I guess KotOR 2 did this better.
You can travel to different planets and like, land and stuff! That so c--err, I guess it's just an extremely dumbed down 3D version of the planet-hopping in SCII.
I got to the very end of the game last weekend, and I didn't even feel like finishing it... still haven't.
Get it. Get it. Get it. Its a better game than Fallout 3 IMO. I was impressed with the quality of the port. biggest_loserno its not everyone complains about sigh i finish it now what? but what fallout 3 does is allowing you to spend time and screw around like gta games in the worldmap...... but again i talk to someone who hates gta and love mafia.... puts story in higher position of fun than the actual fan mechanics...

I prefered the story and narrative storytelling in Mafia than any other GTA games but the GTA games are still awesomezerosaber456well yeah i like freeplay it pays off with more time and trains you for story mode challenges.. mafia said: "difficulty settled on nightmare, no weapon pickup from the shops allowed..go and die now" Kinda painful isnt it?
