Max Payne 1 and Vista

Does Max Payne 1 and Vista go hand in hand. Steam says that the OS requirements are "Windows 2000/ XP (only)". Max Payne 2 doesn't have the "only" footnote. If I have Vista 64bit, do I get the short end of the stick here? :cry:

I just bought it tonight from steam and its working fine.

It works but has sound problems.Many sounds don't work.But it can be fixed easily.Just follow the instructions on the link and have fun!

Thanks for that link the sound did seem a little weird. Will that work with the steam version?

EDIT: Nevermind I looked at the link and its on the steam forums so its probably for the steam version.
