maxis tears of the veil darkspore arrives february 2011

what is darkspore.. darkspore is an action rpg focused around the same art style and dev. team as spore and spore galactic adventures. with claims of tactical AI and unique gameplay elements maxis seems to be aiming to set the bar for the limits of action rpg's of this year. will this ring true in the end is unclear but its got a heck of a trailer.. link below:
