I may be getting a new computer. I'm the type of guy that likes to do work and store stuff like photos on my computer, but I like to play games. What is the best out there for me? (Disregard prices. I'll figure that stuff out later.)

Alienware is pretty reliable. I also think they look the best too. For $1250.00 you can get a Alienware x51 with i7 3770 and a gtx 555 gpu. That should be able to do what you want. Then if you want to upgrade later you could buy a gtx 660 ti gpu.I would prefer store-built.

I dont know what you budget is but that computer would be awesome for photoshop and gaming. Alienware also makes so good expensive computers. Like some that are 6 grand I think.

That actually doesn't seem too bad. I would have thought the graphics card would have been a lot worse.
Build your own desktop. It's not that hard, you'll save money, and you'll get a better PC in the end. Take advantage of combo deals on Newegg.
I'm guessing now he comes here sayin "I'm getting an alienware, thanks guys!"
then again, must be YET another slipknot guy's alt

Did you seriously just recommend someone who want's to game on PC a PC that costs $1250 and only has a GTX 555?... I can understand the previous argument's when it came to "portability" but this is just ridiculous you need to stop recommending on these forums because you may end up getting people to waste their money. Do what you will with your money but stop recommending that others following in your ignorant foot steps.Ive never had a alt account. You just mad. u lie, u have like 2 or 3[QUOTE="ArchDemon123"]

Indeed. Store built ones are out to make a killing and usually aren't as high end as what you could get with the $$, especially if u build it yourself. Most of the time I think you could build a great pc for under $1000, which should be able to play everything out there maxed.Build your own desktop. We all know they have to make a profit, but like a lot of people up here have stated, you're selling yourself short if you buy a pre-built Alienware pc vs either building your own, or picking the components from a place like Cyberpower. I can understand if the consumer doesn't wanna build his pc, and would rather buy it pre-built, but I think there are a lot cheaper sites to go to, which will let you hand pick your components, the Alienware.[QUOTE="Grey_Eyed_Elf"][QUOTE="slipknot0129"]Alienware is pretty reliable. Just forget his post.... His fanboyishness is gonna destroy everything.....Just get some parts.......... or you could give us your budget and we could make a part list for you. Just pay someone 50 bucks to assemble all of them and viola.... You end up with something much better in performance and value.I may be getting a new computer.
