As college started we are looking for some late fun at night. We really enjoyed L4D 2 and we really hated RE5. SC:C runs like ****. ANy suggestions?
We are mostly into FPS.

no dead rising is a 3rd person sandbox game and part 1 was a lot of fun on the xbox. just look the game up for info ;) http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/deadrising2/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B1
borderlands is ok real fun in the beginning but gets really boring. ( shame you mist the steam deal I wouldn't pay the full price for it )
you could always try left 4 dead 1 it's also quite good if you liked part 2 :)
but don't get splinter cell or kane and lynch the suck monkey balls
real coop...... left 4 dead was really special with that :)
you could try modern warfare for the special ops missions coop ( but yeah it's cod..........you like it or hate it )
finding a real equal to left 4 deads coop will be hard lol
you could always do a regular multiplayer fps though...........team fortress 2 can be a lot of fun but yeah not really coop
woops double post......
rainbow six vegas has a decent coop in wich you can do the story in part 2 but it's a older game now and is no where near as good as rainbow six originally was.
good coop.....good coop..........
you should wait for dead rising 2 lol that's what I and my friend are waiting for lol and civ 5 but not really coop nor a fps but still you should get it :P
The whole game is centered around Co-Op play, you get to choose between four classes, each with their own attributes and perks. You then get to play the whole campaign through with your friend, upgrading your character as you do missions and explore the place. I always end up playing this game when a friend comes over at my house. Dead Rising on the other hand might be a bit risky, since it has been said that the game doesn't support local multiplayer (well, for the console version anyways) so just think twice before buying it.I've been thinking of Borderlands. How is the game in terms of gameplay? how does it play?
Edit: I'm also considering dead rising too. Is it a L4D 2 rip off?

if you should want to try borderlands wait a few months bound to be in the next steam holliday sales.
like I said real fun in the beginning 1st few days but then really becomes a drag. no where near the replayability that l4d has
and not really a shooter mor a mix 1st person rpg with guns so lots of items and stuf but don't expect to play it as a fps
Hmmm I see. Isn't there any fun FPS that can do co-op?GazaAli
SWAT 4. It's a bit dated now (came out in 2005), but the co-op is a lot of fun. Keep in mind, though, it's a tactical FPS, so it can be quite punishing at times. You have to think before you act. 8)
Also, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, but that game wasn't very good... I'm not sure about this, but I think the previous Op. Flashpoint games and the ArmA series have co-op as well.
hope you like it btw.
l4d 2 will get new content when valve time is finally there :)
they will release no mercy from l4d1 for l4d2 :) so should be some fun and it's free
too late saying Killing Floor? :(
Anyways Borderlands is quite good, but as most Co-Op games the fun is directly tied to how well you guys play co-op.
