ME2 and Independence Day *spoilers*

Have you ever noticed that in mass effect 2, the [spoiler] Harbinger [/spoiler] looks kind of like the alien from Independence day? Heres a look:

Erm well I guess this is a fairly subjective thing but I would have to say a Reaper looks nothing like the aliens in Independence day.

I think you posted the wrong alien. That's the exo-skeleton, which is really the body of another species the alien invaders inhabit. The "real" ID4 alien looks like this:

(the one on the right:P )

And yes, Harbinger totally looks like that creature.

The pilot from Farscape looks like Harbinger too.

The end boss was even more anticlimactic.

Harbinger is a reaper. What you're referring to is a collector.

^ yeah this, there is no way you can think a Reaper looks like the alien out of independence day. The Collector General does have a passing resemblance but then the Collector General isn't called Harbinger :P
