Same here. But I think it'll never happen. We get rising though, don't we? Sure, but TBH I'd rather play rising on console. The only reason to use a game pad is Metal Gear SOlid. Otherwise I'm PC-pure.
Mind you, if MGS4 came out on PC I might have to treat myself... Seeing as my PS3 is dead.
I like playing console/arcade style games on consoles, and PC style games on PC (FPS, RTS, etc). I have Street Fighter 4 on my PS3. Have no desire to ever own it on PC. Not saying it's not good on PC, I just prefer it on a console. Hard to have friends crowd around my PC to play against each other :P

Its pretty good on ps3 but not amazin, uncharted was so much better for me.dakan45
Interesting, I've heard people RAVE about it. I never played either (don't own a PS3) but Uncharted is usually just said to be "great, but not mind-blowing". On topic, I think it'd be pretty cool to see MGS4 on PC, but when we've already got Rising I don't think it'll make much of a difference.

MGS4 is good if you wanna get explanations about things that are not explained on the previous games, its fun if you wanna sneak with diffirent ways and collect many weapons and upgrade them. Uncharted has the most amazing hollywood story i ever seen, it feels like watching indiana jones, better play uncharted than watch a movie, but dont worry the game is full of climbing and gears of war "take cover combat" and lots of guns. The characters and the levels are amazing.
Just wait for Metal Gear Solid Rising-since they announced it this early, hopefully it wont be a mere port. Other MGS ports (1 and 2) weren't very good.

I suggest buying a PS2... a PS2 memory card and one PS1 memory card. Then get this...

very nice, I picked that up last year in anticipation for MGS4. Great deal and plenty of content, although I played the Collection on my PS3 which you don't need to ol' Memory cards for.
nah, totally, absolutely impossible. it's the most successful PS3 exclusive to date and Sony will be out of its mind to give that up.

that's more like a case of bad optimisation. not saying console sucks ( on the contrary, i think PS3 rocks ), but a high end pc easily outshines all current gen consoles when it comes to graphics.
You got my hopes up... :( They won't listen to a petition.. Its what Kojima wants but I wouldn't mind a MGS on PC. Preferably not a port/remake though...Something fresh..
