Im wondering if anyone here would recommend getting into Mechwarrior Online?

How is the game? Decent, broken, fun, ect ect?

How is the player base? Is the game doing well or is it almost dead?

Its a tough question to ask and get an objective anwser for on the MWO forums because, like all forums for a game thats existed for a few years, id imagine they are a bit toxic.

Pretty good game. Never really felt disadvantaged and you'll always have access to trial mechs. If you go to buy a mech with the in game money it will do you good to research the components because it's easy to screw up your mech build and can find yourself without the funds to fix it without playing with the trial mechs.

Good game. Gameplay is better than War Thunder but I'd prefer to go with War Thunder for political reason.

You will always find a game but unfortunately not in conquest anymore which was the best mode imo.

There is the permanent world now too that could be interesting for you.

And now, the game come with a nice tutorial.

It's damn fun, especially if you like any of the older mechwarrior games. You can spend hours alone just customizing your mech. The only thing is you only get space for 4 mechs initially, which isn't really enough to master any or get a good diverse array, and the only way to get more bays is to pay or invest in the SERIOUSLY competitive community warfare (Seriously, stay out of that until you get decently good, it'll break your spirit otherwise). mechbays of 4 are roughly $1.75 each, going by the lowest amount of MC you can buy.
