I played the demo and i liked very much however the reviews weren't that amazing...so is it worth it?

I enjoyed the demo, but I don't see the game as being one I want to run right out to the store and purchase. I suggest waiting for the price to drop, or perhaps finding a used copy??? That is, unless you absolutely cannot stand not being able to play the game.
If you really want itright now, then pick a copy up - I've heard that the game is pretty easy and it can be completed in 4-8 hours, depending on how fast you move through it. I played the demo on the hardest setting and I thought it was pretty simple.
I'm waiting for the price to drop down to $20 - which might be a year down the road, but that's my decision. Plus, I can't afford to spend money on games like I used to be able to - I've got to save up for more important things now.
agreed. wait it out till the price drop so that if you buy it, and dont like it, it wont be quite such a loss. the demo was only a level or two of the poor a.i. and hit detection and un-imaginitve level design.6-8 hours of it...yeah.theres better games coming out soon to spend the 50 on.
however, thats just imo, so if you really reallyliked it, get it.
airborne is a decent game, and it's a decent fix for fps junkies who've been laying in a faetal position gibbering incoherently since 2005 about the lack of decent fps games, but it's a short game
i don't mean, you know, typical fps 10-12 hours short
i mean, blink and you'll miss it three times short
there's six missions, each one takes lessthan one hour to complete and the upgradable weapons and medals for finding hidden areas or something is a pathetic attempt at replayability
you can easily finish it in a weekend, in one sitting if you could tolerate that... and really, there's just nothing exceptional about the game, everything is just extremely decent,
know that the quality of firefight never exceeds those in the demo, that there's no cool set pieces at any time (the game prides itself on its unscripted non-linearity, but the game is just a wolf in sheep's clothing, it's as linear as going from a to b to c or from b to a to c - the choice is yours!!!), and know that it's over quickly
if the game still appeals in spite of this, go ahead and buy it, i got it day 1 and i don't regret it (since i'm lucky enough to have cash to burn), but as others have said, it's pretty much a bargain bin game, and you'd be better waiting till it's cheaper
i used 4 hours to pass the game. diddnt eaven die once....
have yet to try it online since i dont have internet in the apartment....Hope its better there since it was a little disapointing in diffeculty and lenght of the game as a whole.
But its ok in terms of graphics, Sound and shooting things up.

tnx. It's ok i got a friend will give me the game so it's all good =)
[QUOTE="gfile"]Definately worth buying, thou too short for me...but greeeat game:)Hiddai
In GS thay said something it's hour per mission so it's really short i guess because they got how much? 6? 7 missions?
Maybe 5 or 6 but the last one is HUGE, and very hard to finish, believe me practice your shooting, i run that mission for at least 30 times and if u arent great at shooting(u get medals for expiriance) u never kill the 3 ubersoldiers at the end, that is my advice.;)PC Gamer seemed to like it. They gave it an 88% which is a pretty high score. I think PC Gamer likes the multiplayer action. You could be airbourne or the germans on the ground. Each one added some unique depth.
I just ordered this game. I cant wait for it to arrive so I could play it.
this game is awesome. well worth a buy. i got it off ebay for $79 shipped. collectors edition. regardless of what people say, the missions are not boring. you can play them all at different difficulties, trying different things. the end result will always be the same yes, but theres many different ways to get there.
dont listen to ppl that say the game is total crap, its definitely not the best game out but its awesome. they are prolly call of duty fan boys or only played the demo and based judgement on that, as noobs do these days.
