Do me a favor, go tohttp://www.ea.com/games/medal-of-honor
Then, look under pre-order go to select platform and look at PC.
Enjoy!

they are over-estimating how much PC users want this game.... MW2 sold on the brand and hype alone, and some people ignored the new price. Medal of honor wont be as lucky. Then it will be blamed on piracy.
ugh, I guess we can assume 60 bucks is the soon-to-be norm now for PC games
it had to happen sooner or later, I suppose...we have been paying 50 for years now
I find it just a tad insulting that they raise the price in the middle of a near economic crisis, though...video games should be an inexpensive hobby.
I think we've reached the point that we should assume all full-priced games from big publishers like Activision and Electronic Arts will be $59.99 USD now. I will admit, I am buying Medal of Honor, no matter the price. DICE and EALA are two great developers.
How will you know they are overpriced until you buy them? Even other peoples word (non reviewers) can ensure it won't be overpriced. And playing someone elses copy may not give you enough time to experience the full game.Well, all I know is that I will not be supporting over priced games.

[QUOTE="biggest_loser"]$100 (au) here in Australia. Iantheone$120NZ for PC gamers, and it will be $140 for concole players. Just like MW2... Thank you for sharing neighbour!!
[QUOTE="Amigro"]Inflation..... To think that PC games will forever be $50 is naive...SAGE_OF_FIREUm no, the only reason console games are $60 is because of licensing fees.
lol you beat me, but yeah console games charge 60 a pop because the owner of the console (nintendo, sony, microsoft) charges a fee to the game producers for making the game on their console.
on the PC side there are no such charges so they blame this rise of prices on high cost of production, which may or may not be true.
I tend to lean on the idea that they (game producers) are trying to cash in on activision new model which is greeeeed.

Yep, it's funny because unless your game is called Call of Duty it'll be boycotted and ignored by the pc gaming community.$100 (au) here in Australia. biggest_loserYeah, love it when the people complain about $60.... lol.... Here I gotta save up every time a new release comes out...

If all the games I bought cost $10 more, I would have not nearly as many games.
$100 for a game is rediculous.
Meh I won't be buying it... DICE's quality has really slipped in the last few years. The "dedicated servers" ran like crap and crashed a lot on BC2 until a recent patch, and they have next to no customization. Plus they were supposed to patch the game early-mid may... and that patch is still not out.

I don't think it's government... it's the retail shops that put that much on top of it, cause they have to pay rent, import taxes, shipping etc etc...

Wasn't the MW2 DLC top of the Steam sales?Um no, the only reason console games are $60 is because of licensing fees. SAGE_OF_FIREI'm aware of licensing fees and wouldn't be surprised if Xbox/PS3 games went up in the next few years as well.... Inflation = steady decrease of the worth of money; this is why we could buy a root beer float for a nickel back in the day. PC games are not immune to inflation
Um no, the only reason console games are $60 is because of licensing fees. SAGE_OF_FIREActually, the only reason they're $60 is because market research showed that people were generally stupid and desperate enough to pay that much for a video game. Trust me, it's not like they needed the money.
Its ten dollars... Big frickin dealFrenzyd109Exactly.... and it COULD be inflation... the world is just coming out of a huge economic crysis...
Guys you can't be OK with this. Console games are 60$ because of royalty fees. There are no fees for this on PC, this is just greed, like they think this game is made of gold and people should pay more for it. If it's a high budget PC exclusive i would gladly pay for it. If not then GTFO.GeneralShowzerBut as it has been raised here its a $10 hike when other countries like Australia have been paying more than double for a decade.
It says 59.99 for Crysis 2 PC as well.GeneralShowzer
It's not on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Crysis-2-Pc/dp/B002BS47YE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1276080469&sr=8-1
However, MoH is 60 on Amazon, as well as CoD:Black ops, Diablo 3, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
Fear 3, Fallout:NV, Deus Ex, and Max Payne 3 are all 50.

Wasn't the MW2 DLC top of the Steam sales? Sure it was, but that doesn't mean much as it depends on what other games are selling that week. If there are no other sales going on, then I can see a 15 dollar item selling more than 30 - 50 dollar games. Even if it is a horrible idea to buy a map pack at 15 bucks, people are stupid though, cest la vie.[QUOTE="biggest_loser"][QUOTE="True_Sounds"]Wasn't the MW2 DLC top of the Steam sales? DragonfireXZ95
I was not very interested in the game until I read that the mp was in development by DICE, but I'll not pay 60 $/€ for a standard PC game until the next console generation, so this will be a NO.
Anyway I'll be too busy playing Starcraft II, Brink and Crsysis 2 to care about the new MoH.
