I've played most of the Medal of Honor games (at least the ones on PC), and I must say Allied Assault and Frontlines were games that I enjoyed much more than COD and even Battlefield. Medal of Honor seems to evoke more emotions in the game and make you feel respect for the veterans and heroes.

I do not mind the setting of the new Medal of Honor, yet it just doesn't seem to be what the series is really about (same with Airborne). I mean just listen to this old soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqO4wHrP1HA and you will know what I mean.

As long as EA can pull off this one, I think all the controversy around Taliban in the game will be gone in no time as long as the game really show what it's really like to be a special ops soldier in Afghanistan

I'm in a dilemma of pre-purchsaing Medal Of Honor, I've seen some of the videos and it's latest Multiplayer trailer and to me they look like alotta fun. It's good that they're using the Frostbite engine for this because it visually looks sweet and I wouldn't really want them to change it. I'm also a fan of CoD 4 and the new MoH is on a smaller scale compared to BC2 but I think I still need more convincing in getting the game.

Anyone here tried the BETA when it was out?

The Medal of Honor series seriously lost its way after the first two games imo. Just too generic these days.

The beta wasn't great, but EA have acknowledged the problems people had with it, and should be fixing it up.

He is not really compering anything. Just pointing his prefence. Anyway peronally i also liked the first moh games and did not like cod much when it came out, then i started to dilike moh and enjoyed cod more. However i have to say that pacific assault is propably the best ww2 game i played, and while airborne was kinda weird, it was also a good idea with alot of nonlinearity. As for the new one? Beta was awful, just mediocre, everything was bad, the way health system worked to the low recoil of the assault rifles, its like they pircked the worst things about bc2 and mw2 and mix them together rather the good ones. As for the singleplayer compaign? All i have seen point towards a casual and linear cod clone rather something like airborne of more casual. I still have high hopes though but i expect black ops to be better.

thats comparing warfare games , moh and cod always were fighting over the best warfare game , ea realy pushed devs to make a game once a year and then the game went downhill , now they got Dice working on multiplayer ( moh didnt have any multiplayer at all ) and the same old team on singleplayer , so its basicly the best singleplayer warfare game devs + best multiplayer warfare devs = amazing game , thats what i hope for :) and knowing dice , multiplayer will be awsome as always , beta was disapointing at first but it improoved over time and now when i saw new gameplay trailer of multiplayer (that one in the snowy area ) i can assure you that moh will be an amazing game :)
