What was your first PC like, What were it's specs and what games did you play at the time? When I think back to my first computer I laugh when a I realize how far my system has come since.

Here is my first computer as best I can remember:

OS: MS-DOS 5.0/Windows 3.1
CPU: 486DX2 @ 66MHz
RAM:8MB
Video: 2MB SVGA Card
Sound: Sound Blaster 8-bit
HD: 100MB
CD: 2x CD-Rom Drive

That was my PC around 95. I loved that PC and it was a long time before I got an upgrade of any kind. I played Games like Spear of Destiny, Commander Keen, Journeyman Project, Space Quest IV, Jazz Jackrabbit, Day of the Tentacle, Corridor 7, Terminal Velocity, Warcraft, Wing Commander... Sometimes I miss those days and that old rig. Like, remember when you would go to your local Computer Store just to get the latest Sierra game or ID Software release (or worse, mailing money to the publisher and waiting to get the game in the mail). Now computer stores don't even carry games... Oh well, Can't wait to see what your PC was like so start listing off...

My first PC was the good ol Commodore 64. I was to young to know any of the specs, or really care, I just loved playing Jumpman, Frogger, RiverRaid, among many others.

Ah, the good ol days, LOL

Load"*",8,1 HEHEHEHEHE, wow I can't believe I remember that.

I also had a Commodore 64, but my very first PC was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, complete with cassette tape storage drive. It was a thing of beauty on Christmas Morn circa 1983.

CPU: TI TMS9900, 3.0 MHz, 16-bit
Memory: 256 bytes CPU RAM
Video Memory: 16 Kb video RAM

First PC was a Packard Bell in the mid 90's. I didn't play games on the computer then.... My first gaming rig was self bult back in 2003 and had an Athlon XP 2200+, 768 mb's of ram, 128 mb Geforce 5700 Ultra, and Windows XP. I played UT 2003, Halo CE, Call of Duty, Deus Ex: Invisible War, etc on it...

Mine may have been a bit newer than yours but my parents bought an IBM i think in 1994 or somewhere around there. I remember it was over 4 grand. It was a Pentium 133 mhz cpu, with 16mb of ram and a 2.4 gb hard drive. Other than that I don't remember much else about it ... well other than the fact that it would still probably work if we didn't throw it out

We had Amiga and Commondore but I wouldn't call them PC.

We had numerous 286/386/486 even a portable 386.. haha it was huge when talki'n about laptops.

then dad dropped the ball an bougth a 90mhz beast, (atleast a year before any other had one) kidz all over the neighbehood were just glooming over that wounderfull pice of hardware, we played diffrent 3D games like nascar/stuntcar/Doom we were amaced about the performance.

that was way,way back when PC's were very expencive, he* my s60 cellphone is much faster.

The first own PC i had was a 133mhz old thing, for mostly it never worked well.
