You're either using a 32-bit operating system or some of your RAM modules are damaged or aren't inserted properly.
[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"]Yes i do got the 32-bit operating system. You think that would be.the issue? You're either using a 32-bit operating system or some of your RAM modules are damaged or aren't inserted properly.

yea, 32 bit is limited to 4 gbs of ram, You need to get 64 bit to put those 8 gigs to use.
A 32-bit OS can only address a total of 4GB of physical memory at one time. My guess is that your GPU has 512mb of RAM, right? So your OS can only use 3.25GB of your system RAM. The other 256mb of memory gets addressed to other system devices, etc.. You will need to get a 64-bit OS to utilize 8GB.
no it has 2gb, i got the hd6950A 32-bit OS can only address a total of 4GB of physical memory at one time. My guess is that your GPU has 512mb of RAM, right? That's how it worked for me when using 4GB of RAM and a 512mb video card with XP 32-bit. When I upgraded to a 1GB card, I saw 2.75GB of system RAM.
