Wow.  That's rlly surprising.  It's probly the most complicated engine for a game evar, so i'm just very surprised that some1 is finally putting it to wider use than Crysis.  Brace for amazingly huge system requirements.

that's true.  Ah well.

The game seems to place a lot of emphasis on crushing skulls....a little too much.  I watched the trailer, and it seemed like the enemies were sort of mindless...another pointer that it will be going to consoles.   I'll keep an eye on it, but can't guarantee anything.

Contrary to pupular belief CryEngine2 isnt that rediculous to use ... the reason most companies dont use it is because it doesnt fit the game they want to make AND the licensing fees Crytek is offering the engine for are MUCH MUCH higher than that of many other reasonably close competitors including EPICs UE3.0.ColdfireTrilogy
