metro last night my frames dip to 10 fps

ive tried running this game but theirs seems no hope to get get my frames up to 40fps. im running the beta drivers 320.14 but when i updated to the new 320.18 drivers my frames have dip 10fps so i unstalled them and ran 320.14 still the samething happens can someone help me fix my game they need a new patch for this game.brownstephen259

Well I uninstall phsyxs software and divers 320.14. Then I always use this guys setup for removes files http://www.overclock.net/t/1150443/how-to-remove-your-nvidia-gpu-drivers. It worked installing drivers 320.18 it was something to do with phsyxs softwarebrownstephen259

I wouldn't even run PhysX on this game, it seems the effects are very minimal, almost wouldn't notice they were even on. At least that's what I've noticed from videos, haven't bothered to try and run this game, because I feel my GPU isn't competent enough. :P

oh yeah in this game physx literally does nothing. The cloth you walk through sometimes looks moves terrible. Maybe like one or two scenes with alot of flags it does something otherwise noconsoletroll

Disable SSAA OP. It runs good and looks fantastic without SSAA. On my oc'd 580, i was averaging 38-42 fps on everything maxed, tesselation very high, physx ON, SSAA off, while on medium with SSAA on and physx off, I was getting sub-35 fps most of the time.

I thought it was Last Night, too :). Anyway, OP, are you sure you don't have any background program or something that's ruining your performance? Because the only time my fps count dropped to low 20s was when I came to that Communist base with Pavel and was looking around shops (didn't go much further from there) and I have a weaker system - Athlon II x3, 4GB, GTX 660, 1080p. If I remember correctly I have Physics enabled, Tesselation is medium, AA is off and AF is set to 4, everything else is on max.

They do something, they make firefights more intense and the performance hit for me was minimal, so why not turn them on?

I've always been kinda bummed that I can't take advantage of PhysX (I've been using an AMD card this gen).
