Looks like Michel, Bay director of big movies like Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor, The Rock, and the upcoming transformers... could be the one to bring the prince to the screen. http://iesb.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2301&Itemid=99 I think it could be a great movie, also considering that the same guys that made the Pirates of the Caribbean are behind it all (that means Jerry Buckheimer and Disney). If you're thinking what I´m thinking I´m going to have a big smile on my face at the movies on summer 2009. :D

Michael Bay? rofl, I can see it now! The prince, played by Mel Gibson, arrives home heroically after slaying the cuban sand monsters and in the background there's an American flag waving and little kids cheering him on! :P

BZZZT. Incorrect. Michael Bay WILL NOT be directing a Prince Of Persia movie. There have been silly rumours of this for months. None are true. Michael's next film will be 2012: The War Of Souls, this has been confirmed by Michael Himself.

Darn. Either way, having Buckheimer behind the project I still feel glad about it.

Jerry Bruckheimer = bad actors and forced comedy

Disney = no blood or nudity

So, why bother? When you can't actually see the Prince being impaled by a bunch spikes, or scantily clad harem girls cheering him on, it's just not PoP. And 20 bucks says Orlando Bloom will be in it. He's in every friggin' fantasy action adventure flick known to man. I think he has some serious perversion for that stuff...

Michael Bay = tons of violence and blood

Disney = minimal violence and kiddie comedy.

Too bad; if Michael Bay made this with New Line, it would be the best movie ever.

Well.... tbf, it's Sands of Time, the series only really gets gory come Warrior Within (and boy do they make up for the lack of gore in the first one :P)

Can't wait for the movie to come out, if only to see how they try to deal with the idea of Disney doing Warrior Within if it is successful :PÂ
