Im stuck - I want a decent mouse to replace my current one, and I dont know which to choose. Theyre both 2000dpi etc etc and their specs arent much different.

I just dont know which to choose. Does anyone own one of these mice and can give me a little insight as to what theyre like for 1. games 2. everyday use?

Thanks!

habu's co-developed by razer, so yeah.... i got the razer copperhead, it doesn't feel clunky at all, it feels like something you have used before, something familiar, so adjusting to it takes relatively zero effort, at least for me. it looks awesome with my all blue led setup (copperhead also comes in 2 other colors if you are inclined) and the 2 side buttons on both sides are welcomed. The scroll is slick and the control parameters for the razer mouse a fully customizable, speed, etc.... its a good buy.

You know... Razer Death Adder > Habu > Copperhead. And whats more funny is the DA is practically at the same price.

Just got G5! I loved it! Get G5 instead of those 2, or if you have to chose only between them, get razor. Ofc G5 has weight system(razor also, but sold separately) , 2000 dpi, all that programs to play games better with it(programmable buttons and the dpi settings). Habu is the sexiest with deathhadder... G5 > Razor > Habu

My Copperhead died it out in about 1 and half year or so. Got the Death Adder, absolutely no problems at all so far.

I got the Razer Copperhead, had for rather long while now. Had hardly any probs getting used to it, fits nicely into my hand.

Glides really smooth and easy to use, the buttons on the side are in exact right place so you don't have to stretch to find them and can be customized for diff apps. I've got a friend who has the Habu and it seems a decent mouse also.. there isn't too much difference between them, i suppose it depends on whether you prefer the feel of microsoft ones. The Copperhead is worth every penny though, i have chewed through several mice in my time, and the Razer is certainly the best mouse so far.

like some has already said...habu is co-developed by razer...while i havent used it personally..i dont think it's be much different than the copperhead. i can however vouch that Razer is absolutely amazing when it comes to mice...i've been using my diamondback for a year now and it is the favourite part of my whole system....also..look into the deathadder as well.

I have Habu for an year, and I love the shape. I prefer massive mice, probably because my paw is bigger. Every 3-4 months it starts to doubleclick, one in 3-4 single clicks. I have to open it, open the button and clean the copper connections inside the left button. I even consider replacing the button, but I am not that good at welding. But some weeks ago the mouse started randomly disconnecting and re-connecting to the PC. I tracked down the problem to a connected wire in the cable inside the mouse. This time I had to weld, I cut the cable and welded it directly to the mouse. I had another problem with the mouse too. There is a white sticker around the optics on the bottom, and it is collecting fur (probably because my persian cat likes my Razer Mantis Control mousepad), and the mouse starts to jump. I had to remove that sticker too - and now the mouse is in perfect shape again .. until the next doubleclicking moments. I seriously consider buying the DeathAdder, but I am afraid it will show the same problems. At least I will have spare parts ...
