Hi all, I am currently going to be upgrading my computer with a 295 GTX, and I was wondering how much my current cpu might hold it back playing games such as crysis for example. I have a E6700 at 2.67GHZ, will this be enough or should i upgrade to something like a E8400 at 3.00 GHZ? thanks

By now the C2D E8400-8500 is the minimum for GTX295.

yeah that's a very powerful card and it's hard to find a cpu that won't bottleneck it. but i think that e7xxx series up will be just fine for that card.

I'm on a E8500 with a GTX 295 and it runs crysis beautifully, an E8400 or E8500 will do you fine.
