MLB 2k11 Question

When you are the outfielder and are trying to steal a possible homerun, what button do you press? They say press button 3.

Is there an option like in 2K10 when in My Player mode when you are fielding and get inside the circle to catch the ball you just stay in there? My guy keeps running through it and ends up dropping the ball.

Oh, and I am using a 360 controller
