So, now that I've finished my finals, i need a game to really sink my teeth into. I am thinking is an MMO, but... not WoW and GW (plz dont ask "what's wrong with wow and gw?" i have my own reasons.)

With that said, i dont care if it has Monthly or not, 15 a moth doesnt really bother me much. Plus, i dont mind a grind TOO much, but there are limits. I think about the level of WoW would be reasonable, but a bit higher is fine too. PC requirements doesnt matter either, thinking of buying a brand new PC anyways. I do expect normal MMO goodies i.e Auction House, Bank, Shops, etc

So... any suggestions?

Well there really isn't that many choices right now, but a few that are coming up. Age of Conan of course. But for me personaly i have my sights set on a mmo called Citadel of Sorcery. its still in development, but besides WoW and GW, there is Age of Conan, Anarchy online. A small java scripted game called Wurm Online. Well its not small in the actual game. Its really quite a big game. Good learning curve. Corvand on the wild server if you need help if you want to try it out. A new one i found called Magicworld online. *shrug* looks decent, never tried it myself.

thats only a few i can name right off of my head at this moment. if more suggestions are needed. Well everyone help the man out.

I heard that Age of Conan is pretty good (only mmo game that is rated M). If I was you I would try something else except WoW but its your choice. I going get Age but for 360

try LOTRO, gameplay is good, mature community, has all your requests, end game is limited for lack of players but hopefully the fall expansion will help.

I have AoC and its currently buggy. servers where down yesterday and downloading the patches takes forever. I should have waited four months to buy it and not have wasted the $50.

Age of Conan or EVE Online depending on if you want scifi or fantasy.

I would have to say go with Age of Conan. First reason is because it brand new and you can grow with the game, so you dont feel like your jumping in with a bunch of l33t players. There are a few bugs though, as of right now the bank and trader is not working, but funcom is working on the issue. If you get AoC and want a PvE server play on Set and send me a tell :p

Eve would be my suggestion, they have some new features out and coming, so you could use this opportunity to get up to speed. AoC looks good as well, but I prefer SciFi games.

may I suggest RuneScape? It doesn't look the best but it can be rather addicting and fun (if it ends up being your sort of thing)
