MMORPG,RPG, or FPS

So please tell me if you like MMORPG,RPG's or FPS's and why?

1. FPS simply because it is easy to sit down and take in short busts. School and work caused this.

2. RPG if I have the time to sit down and enjoy one. Would have been my number 1 if I had more time these days.

3. MMORPG with what little experience I have with them, I did not enjoy much.

I think I prefer the FPS games more than the RPGs/MMORPGs...

I used to be big on the whole MMORPG deal ever since I started EverQuest back in 1999. But after playing WoW on-and-off for about 2 years since its release, my interest in MMOs have kinda died out. I still play a few MMORPGs, but I've been focusing on FPS games a lot more, especially survival-horror ones. I rarely play any straight-up RPGs anymore.

So, for me, FPS > MMORPG > RPG

a great MMOFPS would be the best in my opinion though. To have the ability to play coop and have a character that you improve is just fun, plus it's a FPS. The only game I know of like that though is Huxley, and it's not out yet.superc92

I'll take it you've never heard of/played PlanetSide? Because it's an MMOFPS, and it's pretty much exactly what you described - coop play, improving your character via leveling, alongside lots of other goodies. It's quite fun, especially the battles with tens to hundreds of people fighting. The only downside is that you have to pay to play.

Hmm, quite similar for myself actually.

Definitely enjoy the FPS genre the most, and although I could picture RPGs being my favorite, that just isn't going to happen due time constraints in most cases and the fact that I do enjoy shooters quite a bit as well. Don't play MMORPGs.
