I have a 8800GT with a mobo *forgot what kind :P* that bend inside my computer tower, the GPU isnt bending alot but it is a bit because its leaning on the Harddrive, and the mobo isnt screwed in allthe way so it is bending will this at all screw up the preformance while i am gaming? frame terms?

If there's bending, I'd recommend a new case or moving your hard-drive or something. You won't see any performance problems but I wouldn't be surprised if the card or mobo just flat-out breaks at one point.

Your motherboard should not be bending at all. It should be screwed in at all four corners and in the center at a few points.

If your HDD is pushing against your GPU, move the HDD to another slot. Most cases have room for multiple HDD's. If that isnt possible, look for another slot for your GPU. If its AGP that shouldnt be hard, most mobo's came with more than one. If its PCI-e then hope you got an SLI-ready mobo, otherwise they usually dont come equipped with mulitple slots.

Don't half-ass it. :P. Things don't just mysteriously get stuck. Make sure everything is unscrewed. And often the hard-drive won't just slide out. You'd be surprised but it's pretty often that you'll have to use brute-force when putting together (or taking apart) a PC.

At least that's better then having to deal with loose crap like SATA cables. Everytime I open my PC I have to double check the SATA cables before I close it up again because of how easy those cables can be unplugged.

First try re-arranging stuff inside your current case, as it may be possible to make it all fit without bending. You definitely dont want cards bending in the case, so buy a larger case if it doesn't fit.

As for your harddrive filling up - this will definitely affect performance. 8GB free doesn't tell us much without knowing the total capacity of it. As a guide you want an absolute minimum of 10% free space. If you have some monster 1TB drive then you can get away with less, but for most people on

I'm pretty sure it isnt dependent on your HDD max capacity, but more on your pagefile. So if you've alloted 2 GB's for that, you only need to save that much roon on your drive, regardless of size. I might be wrong though.
