So I was looking to start a new rig and I am goin with a budget processor(sort of) and I just want to make sure it is 100% workable with the mobo I have chosen.

My plan is to eventually upgrade to the 8-core FX processor.

awesome thanks... I thought they were for sure but I just wasnt 100% about it... Also another question... I have heard the stock coolers on these CPUs is kind of week.. does anyone have some $25-$75 cooling solutions that they can recommend? I have thought about the H70 or something of the sort but I am wary about liquid cooling as I have never done it.. nor do I plan to OC all that much

seems to me most cooling solutions are $25-$75. i just ordered an H60 and it will be my first water cooling experience. build should be happening friday (if ups tracking is correct about the early delivery of my mobo). can't imagine i would be unhappy with it, assuming i don't run into the problem of it resting on the compositors some people have experienced... couldn't find any info directly related to that and my specific motherboard.

Everyone loves the hyper 212+ if you don't want to bother with liquid.

i am in agreement but for 130 you can get a thuban 1035t

in her box collect on the MiR and save yourself 10 bucks. on the hole the 1035t is superior to the 4100 though not by much
