okay, so i just got myself a (VERY CHEAP) dell XPS 420, so far its been good, but i hear loads of pepole saying that dell's motherboards suck. so i was wondering if a crappy mobo can be a bottleneck, and if so, is it worth getting a new mobo? and as im kinda new to all this computer hardware stuff, it would be nice if you guys could give me some pointers (BTW i have an nVidia 8800 GTX, Q6600 processor, and SB X-Fi sound card).

ok, just realised my video card driver was really old, thats probably why i dont get the kind of performance i expected, i went from high in Crysis at 1024 x 756 with occasional FPS dips to 1680 x 1050 with a fairly steady 30 FPS
