Do you really think IW is going to let us down? I believe the next MW2 will be a graphical masterpiece. It won't be akin to Cry Engine 2 anything.....more like Call of Duty 4 engine v2.0.

There's only so much that the 360/Ps3 can do.
ya, most likely it will be a tweaked Cod4 engine at best.
You'll have at least one or two levels where the graphics are like WHOA!!!!!!!! Just like the "Ghillie Suit" level in the last one. The rest of the game will probably look sightly better than the previous game.

Good enough graphics that fit the theme and very good level design and attention to details, in short a good atmosphere is way better than just good graphics, and CoDs are exactly about that, they never were advancements in graphics, but their atmosphere and details are extremely good.

Good enough graphics that fit the theme and very good level design and attention to details, in short a good atmosphere is way better than just good graphics, and CoDs are exactly about that, they never were advancements in graphics, but their atmosphere and details are extremely good.
If that ends up being the case then I couldn't be happier. Heck.......I still play Call of Duty 1 and 2 almost every day. I like WAW but there's just something not right with that game........

Well sorry, I should have said about WaW :P, I don't consider it a CoD game, it's the only one that I absolutely hate, both SP and MP, CoD 1, UO, 2 and 4 are the only PC CoDs as far as I'm concerned, Treyarch does not make PC games in my books.

lol... I'm not sure what MW2 footage you were watching, but from the footage I've seen there were advances like Snowmobiles and scuba diving underwater.
