Modern Warfare 2 hacking! When will it stop? Did we deserve it?

I payed 60 bucks for this game, and some of this went to infinityward for sure, and a little bit to steam for sure, so what are they waiting for? What's you guys opinions on this?

It's what you get for paying for an inferior product that doesn't cater as it should to PC gamers.

alot of people complain about every version of the game, all the glitchers and cheaters. Yet it sells like crazy, and people keep playing! Im guessing black ops will be the start of the end.

People got there warnings like a month before MW2 came out. No dedicated servers im not buying they said. Im boycotting this game they said. The price is too high they said. Until there is a patch to add dedicated server im not buying it they said. What did they do? Yep they brought it then complained some more. lolololhahaha :twisted:infinity ward they said.

Your problem is where IW decided to sell out their fanbase.

- No dedicated servers. (no admin to kick or ban)
- No Punkbuster. (no matter how much people hate PB, it's better than VAC)

Punkbuster gives the admin(s) the ability to screenshot people to see what's on their screen. So if PB failed to detect the hack, this is where the admin usually comes to save the day and ban the hacker from the server.

He is right. IW screwed us, Now by supporting them and buying this POS game. You're getting screwd.

I agree with you on the Dedicated Servers but I'd rather have Hackers get banned a month afterwards by VAC than not being able to play the game at all thanks to Punkbuster, Seriously I cant play any games online that Use Punkbuster because I get kicked within 2 minutes for that piece of Junk failing to realise that my Computer is hack free

Well you certainly deserve whatever moderation you get now, MauroR077, but you are right about the general comments on this website. The calibur of people here has really gone down hill. Interesting game discussion has been replaced by foaming at the mouth hate towards popular games and the constant blathering about things being "overrated". Everything sucks, everything is lame, bla bla bla. I suggest you check out some other general gaming sites out there...not all of them are infected with this non-sense. Once in a while there is still some decent conversation here, but it never lasts long as the "x game is terrible/overrated/ect" is bound to be made and the whole thread is derailed into pointless banter. Compare MW2 to CoD4, MW2 IS overrated.
