Here you go, soldiers. :D

nah, this is exactly what the fans ( myself included ) looking for. but hey, it's your opinion so i've no problem with that.
notice how the AC130 bombardment destroyed the buildings. The environment can be more destructible than we expect.
Wow! Motion Tracker and AC130 perks... Just when you thought Martyrnoob wasn't annoying enough! Meet the AC10! And a motion tracker perk that gives people legit wall hacks!
there're always complaints about perks.... but i've never had any problem for the past 2 years. plus, isn't that how we fight in Iraq and Afghanistan? the moslems never complained. :P
I wouldn't complain as much if the perks were even slightly balanced or there could be server restrictions on equipment/perks. No one is ever going to choose Eavesdrop over a freaking AC130 strike.there're always complaints about perks.... but i've never had any problem for the past 2 years. plus, isn't that how we fight in Iraq and Afghanistan? the moslems never complained. :P

We don't fight in Iraq anymore, and Call of Duty is as far from real war as you can get.there're always complaints about perks.... but i've never had any problem for the past 2 years. plus, isn't that how we fight in Iraq and Afghanistan? the moslems never complained. :P

i don't see how it's imbalanced if the same options are available for everyone from the get go. also, i don't think the AC130 is a perk.... it's a killstreak award, same as the air support in CoD4 - only you get to man that GAU cannon this time, personally. OORAH :D

i'm sure i never mentioned anything about "real". that's a joke. sorry it didn't appeal to you.

Ah sorry, friends were just talking about CoD6, and I'm sleepy.i don't see how it's imbalanced if the same options are available for everyone from the get goJinroh_basicThat's like saying that Blizzard should avoid balancing the races in SC2 because it's an option for everyone to play as the overpowered race. The perks should be adequately balanced. Something as simple as a death animation for martyrdom would have made that perk much more balanced. A fix for the hit detection on last stand would have made that perk decently balanced or headshots as an instant kill so that there is no last stand if the player is unlucky. Juggernaut could have been tweaked. I did re-watch the movie and the AC130 isn't a perk.
perks are not factions. they are simply enhancements of your own skill, which varies from person to person, and as such cannot be fully balanced - that's the same reason why you can't balance guns. i would like to point out that, imo, the perks in CoD4 never got in the way of the core gameplay. a minor nuisance here and there, sure, and sometimes that Hind D just seems to follow you around, but overall the entire system is solid and well implemented.
I agree that last stand perk has hit box detection issue, which is minor. all in all, i think we can expect alot of changes to the perk system in MW2.
The guns in CoD4 are much more balanced than the perks. Martyrdom isn't an 'enhancement,' it's a perk that gives you free kills. I have no complaints about most of the perks, but it's clear that some of them are not simply enhancements and some of them are severely underpowered (namely eavesdrop).perks are not factions. they are simply enhancements of your own skill, which varies from person to person, and as such cannot be fully balanced - that's the same reason why you can't balance guns. i would like to point out that, imo, the perks in CoD4 never got in the way of the core gameplay. a minor nuisance here and there, sure, and sometimes that Hind D just seems to follow you around, but overall the entire system is solid and well implemented.

It's just a simple request to expect a game where 99% of the people don't use 1% of the games potential arsenal because they have to or they're at a significant disadvantage.
Or just add a server ability to restrict equipment loadout. Very simple modification for the community to weed out perks like martyrdom themselves.
Just looks like COD4 with slightly better graphics, MP looks just the same as COD4. I'm boycotting Craptivision so I'm not picking up this game not only that the pc version is the same as the console version, Craptiviosn better not complain about "teh piracy rates"

Maybe the Germans are coming back again? :P
most HC servers ban it anyway, that's why it has never been a problem to me.
and sorry, NO destructible environment. :P i mistook the dust for building debris, my bad. but you are able to take down the AC130, so it shouldn't upset the gameplay balance too much.
Have destructible environments been confirmed? I'll have to watch it again. I don't mind if its more of the same, only with new additions etc. And I dont agree that martyrdom gave you free kills - it helps, but it is avoidable. biggest_loser
Its certainly an annoyance though, and I find that it really kills the immersion factor for me.

On hardcore, it's simply easy kills. The only warning is that 'tink' sound, which is nearly impossible to hear if you're focused on something else.
here's a analysis of the preview video, listing out the weapons, killstreak customizations, xp and other details that are revealed so far. looks like the Bushmaster ACR is going to be heavily featured in this game.

nope. i thought the airstrikes destroyed the buildings, but it's just dust and shaking. pretty awesome effects nonetheless.
