Ok, so I am soon buying a 24" LCD PC monitor (1920x1200 resolution of course). I am buying it to use for my PS3, and also to use when I buy a gaming desktop sometime in the near future.

Currently I am using a relatively crap laptop for computing purposes, and I had the thought that I could hook up my 24" monitor to my laptop via it's VGA out in the meantime while I get a desktop. The laptops video card is an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M. I was just wondering if my laptop would support such a high resoultion (1920x1200) via it's VGA out.

Also, do you think it would still work an acceptable speed for say, web browsing? That's almost all I'm using it for these days anyway.

Thanks in advance.
