Would you keep a 27" lcd tv, with 1360x768 res or sell it for a smaller 22" lcd monitor that has 1920x1080 res (so full hd)?

I guess that would depend on what you use your PC for. If (like me) you game and watch movies at your desk a lot, say, more than you do on your couch, I'd say it'd be worth the loss of 5" of viewing. The monitor gets my vote as well.

Yea thats a good point, its just i was selling it to my mate but he is already getting a tv for christmas, so im not sure what to do. The lower res means i'll be able to max out anything if i upgrade my gpu though
